www.COCOAARTS.com GOES LIVE & AT THE WINDSOR CONTEMPORARY ART FAIR
Cocoa Arts launched the website with our first successful Art Fair. The Windsor Contemporary Art Fair took place on the 9th – 11th of November at the Royal Windsor Race Course, with a great line up of local art. The vibe was fantastic, especially at the Reception on the Friday, where friends and family of Cocoa Arts came to support our stand, which was great. We had a very special guest in Prof Wole Soyinka, the Noble Peace Prize recipient, who took time out from his hectic schedule to come and support our endeavours. Another special guest Dr.Stephen Olufunwa and his wife, were also there to support Cocoa Arts.
Our stand received a great response from the general public, who were intrigued by the ‘Cocoa Arts concept’ the works of the artists represented and the methods adopted by them, in particular the ‘paper beads’ artworks by Jacob Jari. We also show- cased Obi Okigbo’s beautiful ‘architectural’ inspired drawings, Julia Roder’s intoxicating colours and Kis Keya’s breathtaking nudes...and we sold! Hoorah!
It was a gentle but great first foray into the world of Art Fair’s and gave us a lot of inspiration and drive to go forward with our plans to participate in more exciting events. So please check the site for forthcoming events in the coming New Year.
